New Definition for SMEs in Singapore

Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry have broadened the definition for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). According to the Ministry's Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Sam Tan, enterprises with not more than $100 million in annual sales or employing less or exactly 200 workers will be defined as SMEs beginning 1 April 2011.
