AIA adopts fire fighting teddy as new mascot for Personal Lines

AIA Personal Lines recently launched a campaign to promote their new mascot and commissioned Acacia to name and create the printed manifestation of the adorable hero.

A star is born...
We decided to use an approachable illustration style that be-fits Hosé's (and AIA Personal Line's) personality. To balance adorability with tenacity, we then staged him as an Action Hero; adopting a pose and poster backdrop inspired by Charlie's Angels no less.

What's in a name?
And why the name Hosé you ask? Among other reasons, it is an acronym for HOme SEcurity, which is what AIA Personal Line's Products offer. Of course, you can't miss the fact that firemen carry HOSEs! And our favourite rationale...it means 'good fortune' in the Chinese dialect of Hokkien!
