About Us

THE INK BLOT is a learning place located at 187A/2 Joo Chiat Road. (Refer to the map below). It is owned by Inkblots Learning, a company incorporated in Singapore, providing educational consultation and training for children from pre-school to Secondary levels.

At The Ink Blot, we believe that learning is not a singular activity. Learning involves the literacy skills for reading, writing, listening, speaking, comprehension and reasoning. We also believe in preparing people for learning. We do this by engaging students in learning within the DOBI® environment, helping them to develop positive self concept, overcome difficulties, build confidence and interact socially.

For these reasons we do not have lessons in classrooms. We have experiences. Each time students spend time in our studios, they acquire knowledge, get to know themselves and what makes them ‘tick’, face up to fears and negative beliefs, engage in new experiences and adopt new perspectives. Most of all they do all that with the support of trained facilitators who act as coaches and mentors.
